Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport & Overnight in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, guests are warmly welcomed by a professional safari representative from African Treasure – Wilderness Ambassadors and transferred to their lodge or hotel in Arusha town, located approximately 50 kilometers from the airport with a driving time of about 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions. Arusha sits at the foothills of Mount Meru and serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit.

After check in, guests have time to relax and recover from their international journey while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of their accommodation. A detailed safari briefing is provided, offering insights into the upcoming wildlife experiences, safety guidelines, and the unique ecosystems to be explored. Dinner and overnight are spent in Arusha, preparing for the adventure ahead.
